At The Coffee House, what you see on your plate or in your cup is the result of a much bigger story. Behind every cup of coffee, slice of cake and bite to eat is our very talented and passionate Central Kitchen team. This is the part you don’t see; the early mornings, the talent and the commitment to quality that starts long before anything reaches the store.

Roasters

Our coffee beans are roasted in-house with care and expertise. We don’t only source great beans, we roast them ourselves to bring out the perfect balance of flavour, aroma and smoothness. It’s how we ensure every cup served in our stores meets the high standard that our customers have come to expect. It’s this process that brings out the characters in every cup and makes it unmistakably ‘The Coffee House’.

Each roast is fine-tuned by our skilled roasters, who understand that coffee is both science and art. Whether it’s a flat white or an iced latte, every cup starts with beans roasted just the way we and you like them.

Bakers

If you step into our bakery, you’ll find the same level of passion, precision, and pride. Our bakers are in early, mixing, folding icing and decorating. From gooey brownies to the perfect teacakes you all know and love, everything you see in our cake counter is made from scratch by real people using real ingredients. Everything is made fresh and delivered to the store daily because when it comes to sweet treats, we believe that the quality is obvious when it’s homemade.

Fresh Food Makers

Everything is made daily, just like our cakes and baked goods, using high-quality ingredients and a great deal of care. Our menus may change and update from time to time, but the process always remains the same: freshly prepared, delivered to stores and ready to be enjoyed by you.

Unsung Heroes

Once the baking trays are cleared and the sandwich boxes are sealed, our work doesn’t stop. That’s when our incredible warehouse and driver teams step in. Every evening, they load up the vans and hit the road, delivering food, cakes and essential supplies to over 35 stores across the region.

Their mission? To make sure each one of The Coffee House locations is fully stocked and ready to go for the next morning.

Often working through the night, our drivers are the unsung heroes of the operation. They’re the final link in our fresh food chain, bridging the gap between our Central Kitchen and our stores, ensuring everything arrives on time, in perfect condition, and ready for our teams to serve our customers in the morning.

Without them, the shelves would be empty, and the coffee machines wouldn't hum quite the same.
