The Coffee House Celebrates the Opening of Its 25th Store at Cockhedge Shopping Centre

The Coffee House, a beloved local chain known for fueling the community with exceptional coffee and a welcoming atmosphere, proudly announces the opening of its 25th location at Cockhedge Shopping Centre. This weekend marked the grand opening, a significant milestone in the journey of brothers Chris and Stephen Shelmerdine, who founded The Coffee House in 2011.

What began as a single storefront in Lymm has flourished into a key part of Warrington’s vibrant coffee culture. With a focus on providing outstanding customer service and creating a community-driven space, The Coffee House has grown into a go-to destination for coffee lovers across the region.

“We set out with a mission to open 25 stores by 2025, and we’re proud to say that The Coffee House, Cockhedge marks the achievement of this goal ahead of schedule,” said co-founder Chris Shelmerdine.

“Not only have we reached our goal, but we’re on track to open even more stores by the end of the year.”

Cockhedge is the fourth Coffee House location in Warrington, making it a particularly meaningful expansion for Chris and Ste, both proud locals.

The Cockhedge area is currently undergoing significant regeneration, and The Coffee House is excited to be part of this revitalisation, offering a cosy spot for customers to relax.

Daisy, the new manager of the Cockhedge store, has moved from The Coffee House's Golden Square branch. Having been with the company for several years, Daisy is dedicated to providing the same high-quality service and community spirit that customers have come to expect.

“I’m excited to take on this new role at Cockhedge and continue to be part of the Warrington community,” Daisy shared. “I’ve loved working at Golden Square, and I’m thrilled to bring that same energy to our new store. Cockhedge has a special charm, and I can’t wait to see it become a go-to spot for more Warrington locals.”

Located conveniently next to Asda, The Coffee House is the perfect spot for a coffee break, whether stopping by before work, after shopping, or simply looking for a place to relax. With free Wi-Fi and parking for up to two hours, it’s never been easier to unwind.
